Ex-UGA WR now head of UK-based NFL Academy, which opens season vs. Marietta

Kris Durham, a former University of Georgia football player, is now head of the UK-based NFL Academy in Loughborough, England, which will open its 2026 high school football season against Marietta High School in 2026. The academy, which opened in 2019 and started playing competitive football in 2022, features football players from three continents hoping to earn American college football scholarships. Marieta will play against the NFL Academy on Aug. 21. The Academy has previously competed with several notable American high schools.
