Alex Thomas, who recently represented Team Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, hit a home run in the Mexico City Series for the first time in Mexico City, marking a significant moment for him and his family. The crowd of the crowd was so enthusiastic that Thomas was greeted with cheers from both his parents, Allen and Marcella, who are from Agua Prieta, Sonora. Thomas' home run was his second home run of the season. Manager Torey Lovullo acknowledged the significance of the event and expressed pride in Thomas' performance.
