Italian sports carmaker Lamborghini has reported weaker 2025 earnings despite record revenue. This was due to U.S. tariffs, currency moves, and charges related to scrapping its first fully electric vehicle. The company's CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, stated that the company does not plan further price increases this year as it does not believe this is helping the market. The profit margin on operating income fell to 24% in 2025 from 27% a year earlier. Lamborghinis also increased sales of pricier vehicles, supported by its Revuelto sports car and client requests for high-margin vehicle customisation. However, it is too early to provide forecasts for 2026 due to uncertainties including the ongoing Middle East war.
