Two more tornadoes confirmed in Linn and Bates counties

Two more tornadoes have been confirmed in Linn and Bates counties, bringing the metro region's total to four. The National Weather Service reported that an EF-1 tornado hit near Linn County at around 8 p.m. It also reported that two people were injured during this incident. No fatalities were reported. The newly confirmed tornadoes join a pair of EF-2 twisters also occurring in the region.
