Strong onshore winds and mostly cloudy conditions are expected across the northeast Florida, southeast Georgia coast on Sunday, keeping temperatures below seasonal norms for late March. Scattered showers are possible, particularly for coastal St. Johns and Flagler counties, but temperatures are expected to remain around 70 degrees. Beach conditions remain dangerous, with a High Rip Current Risk and a High Surf Advisory issued through 5 a.m. Monday. Forecasters predict warmer temperatures will return across the region on Monday, with inland Northeast Florida and north central Florida expected to see the highest readings.
