Julie Andrews, Anne Hathaway, Mandy Moore, and the rest of the Princess Diaries cast are all celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film's release on Aug. 3, 2001 release. Andrews, who kicked off the World Parkinson's Congress conference in May with a video message, is also working on a film about her career for Disney++ in 2027. She and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton recently re-released a reissue of their 2010 book, The Great American Mousical, about a troupe of theater-loving mice. Despite a recent throat surgery that left her unable to sing and left permanent damage to her vocal cords, Andrews remains committed to her work. She has also penned 30 books with her eldest daughter, Amy Edwards, and Joanna Edwards with director Blake Edwards. However, she has no plans to reclaim her role as Queen Clarisse Renaldi in the upcoming Princess Diary movie "Back to Genovia with an October 2024 post.
