Illegal dumping in Youngstown, Ohio, continues to be a major problem, with tires being the biggest issue since January 1, according to Bob Burke, litter and recycling coordinator for Green Youngstown. He provided a map of where items have been dumped, with black indicating tires and blue indicating mattresses. This is not the first time the tires have been illegally dumped in the city, with 300 in January, over 400 in February alone. A year ago, Mark Domascieno pleaded guilty to littering after a security camera found him dumping tires on the east side of Josephine Avenue.
