Ex-NSA leader, OpenAI board member calls out Anthropic-Pentagon fight

Retired Gen. Paul Nakasone, former NSA and U.S. Cyber Command director and board member, has criticised the Trump administration's decision to label Anthropic a supply chain risk. He warned that this could undermine the Pentagon's efforts to build trust in Silicon Valley. Nakason also suggested that lawmakers should consider monitoring military AI use in accordance with current law. As of Monday, the Pentagon has not yet sent a formal notice to Anthropic.
