Pirates, Konnor Griffin finalizing historic $140 million deal ahead of whiz kid’s MLB debut

The 19-year-old shortstop, Konnor Griffin, is reportedly finalising a nine-year deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates for $140 million. This would be the largest guarantee made to a player before their MLB debut. The deal is still in negotiations.
