A temporary casino is operating at the former Tropicana site in Las Vegas as part of a state requirement to preserve the gaming license tied to the property. The temporary casino operates out of a trailer on March 31, 2026, on the site of Bally’s new Athletics stadium. The casino, featuring several slot machines, is set up to maintain its gaming license for the property and maintain the non-restricted gaming license. Nevada policy requires gaming on the premises for six months before the site was demolished in October 2024. Bally's Corp. is offering public access to 16 slot machines through Thursday, between 9 am. and 5 p.m. The slot machines on site do not accept ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers, meaning all players receive hand pays for any amount won.
