Jay-Z has spoken about his refusal to settle a sexual assault lawsuit brought by a Jane Doe, who claimed that Jay and Sean "Diddy" Combs sexually assaulted her during a VMAs afterparty in 2000. Jay vehemently denied the allegations and sued Jane and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, for malicious prosecution and defamation. Jane eventually dropped her suit last year, while Jay's suit was dismissed a few months later. Jay said he could've settled the case faster but felt he wouldn't do it. He also revealed that he found creative fulfillment in helping out his wife Beyoncé's projects and that he doesn't know if his music would have impacted the world.
