The Washington State Office of Independent Investigations has identified the two deputies involved in a fatal shooting in Lewis County. Deputy Tyson Brown and Deputy Jared Kasinger, both with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, were involved in the incident on March 16. The shooting occurred after deputies responded to a report of a man in distress and found him inside a vehicle armed with a firearm. The man was airlifted from the scene but later died from his injuries. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
