Frisco ISD trustees have named Todd Fouche as the lone finalist to become the next superintendent, succeeding Mike Waldrip who is retiring after nine years in the role. Fouche, the current deputy superintendent, will oversee 77 schools and over 62,000 students. He earned a Doctor of Education degree from the University of North Texas and has served in Frisco ISD for over 20 years. His successor will have to address enrollment decline, which is expected to continue with further drops. FouChe will implement Frisco Flex, an online learning program that allows students from outside the district to enroll.
