The Las Vegas Raiders have added wide receiver Jonathan Brady to their roster, replacing Justin Shorter who was placed on injured reserve. Brady, a former teammate of Fernando Mendoza at two different schools, was signed after attending rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. He was originally recruited to New Mexico State and played for then-receivers coach Tony Sanchez, the former coach at Bishop Gorman and UNLV who is now head coach of the Aggies. Brady transferred to Cal for the 2024 season, where he first played with Mendoaza before joining him on the undefeated national championship team at Indiana. The Raiders made room for Brady to make up for Shorter's position.
