The construction of a new train station in England's second city is underway for the early 2030s. The new Curzon Street Station will be located east of Birmingham city centre, near Digbeth, and is expected to integrate existing local transport. The station is set to be located alongside the old building, which was built in 1839 and plans to be restored as a historic landmark. New visuals have been released showing a modern, modern station with an impressive curved roof structure and a new public space. The project is expected by the end of the decade to play a significant role in Birmingham's future as a hub for transportation and growth.
