New Jersey's Easter weekend is expected to be disrupted by showers, possible thunderstorms, and partly sunny conditions. The National Weather Service predicts a significant increase in rainfall on Sunday, mainly in the northern half of the state, with widespread rain showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. The warm air mass may potentially challenge record high temperatures for April 4 in some locations, with current records at 80 degrees at Newark Liberty International Airport, 82 degrees at Trenton Mercer Airport, and 78 degrees at Atlantic City International Airport. The weather service also anticipates significant rainfall and potential severe thunderstorms on Sunday.
