The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has charged 24-year-old Gabriela Gonzalez, 59, her father Francisco Gonzalez, and her ex-boy bandmate Kai Cordrey with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and solicitation of murder. The three are accused of attempting to hire a hitman on the dark web to kill singer Jack Avery, a former member of the boy band Why Don't We. If convicted, the defendants could face up to 25 years to life in prison. The alleged plot was part of a custody dispute at the time of the alleged plot.
