Nevada Democrats at front of call for ethics investigations into Swalwell, others

Two Nevada Democrats have called for swift investigations into allegations of misconduct by members of Congress, including Rep. Eric Swalwell, who is accused of sexual assault and sexual misconduct involving a former aide and three other women. The House Ethics Committee launched an investigation Monday morning. In a separate interview, Nevada Democratic Rep. Dina Titus did not suggest that Swalw should resign from Congress. 15 members of the House also submitted a letter asking for swift inquiries. The letter was sent to Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
