ZooTampa has announced a new aquatic wildlife exhibit, Florida Waters, which aims to educate people about how to live with Florida's wildlife and inspire better conservation decisions. The exhibit, which has been years in the making, features a hands-on aquatic wildlife experience that includes a storytelling of the places manatees can live, including in freshwater and saltwater. The Manatee Rescue Center also provides interactive and educational opportunities for visitors, with the facility taking in sick, injured, and orphaned animals and rehabilitating them for release back into the wild. The zoo will extend its hours through April.
