The Timberwolves' leading scorer and driving force, Anthony Edwards, has been diagnosed with inflammation in his right knee and will be out for at least 1-2 weeks. The team conducted an MRI and decided to rest him for a week or two. Despite this, Edwards has been performing well this season, averaging 29.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game and shooting efficiency has decreased slightly. He has to play at least seven more games to qualify for any postseason awards.
