Former Formula One driver, Nigel Mansell, has expressed sympathy with Red Bull's Max Verstappen's criticism of the current current rules era of Formula One (F1), but expects the governing FIA to make changes to return to "proper racing". He expressed his support for the drivers and expressed his hope that the cars would soon be driven "as they should be" and warned that it would be a mistake if they don't tweak the current rules enough. Mansell also commented on the upcoming British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where he expects seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton to return strong after a barren 25th race in 1925.
