Autism AwareNESS Dance-A-Thon returns to Eastlake Middle School

The Willoughby-Eastlake City School District has announced details for its 15th annual Autism AwareNESS Dance-A-Thon. Over 130 sixth- through eighth-grade students will participate in the 12-hour dance marathon, which takes place from noon to midnight without breaks. All proceeds from the event will go towards local autism initiatives. The event aims to show students how autistic individuals cannot escape their environment, regardless of any struggles they may have experienced. The dance-a-thon, inspired by Penn State's "Thon," aims to raise awareness of autism and fund opportunities and programming for autistic individuals in the local community.
