A vigil was held in Makiki, Hawaii, for the 30-year-old man who died in a hit-and-run accident on April 9. The vigil included dozens of loved ones, friends, and community members. According to police, Cruz was crossing the street when a driver ran away and did not stop. The family hopes this will encourage other drivers to be more present on the road.
