From the sports desk: Let the ‘Madness’ begin

The men’s and women's brackets were released for March Madness, with seven of the eight No. 1 seeds making the Final Four last year, including Duke, Arizona, Michigan and Florida. The top seeds in the men's bracket were Duke, which was the top seed, and the East region was joined by No. 2-seeded UConn, No. 3 Michigan State, No., 4 Kansas, and No. 5 St. John's. In the women's bracket, the four No.1 seeds are UConn. The defending champion UConn is expected to be a strong contender, having won back-to-back national titles and a strong defensive player. On the other hand, watch Miami (Ohio), an offensive juggernaut that went undefeated in the regular season before it lost in its conference tournament.
