Olympic pairs figure skating gold medalists Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara retire

Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara, known as "RikuRyu," have announced their retirement from figure skating, two months after they won the Olympic gold medal with a record-breaking skate at the Milan Cortina Olympics. They became the first Japanese pair to win Olympic gold. The announcement came on the same day they met with Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at a spring garden party.
