CarPlay in iOS 26 adds five new ways to customize your setup

Apple's new iOS 26, which includes a new feature called Smart Display Zoom, allows for greater flexibility in CarPlay's setup. The feature is designed to optimize CarPlay for the size and shape of your in-car display. Additionally, Widgets have been added to CarPlay from the left of the Home Screen and can be added and removed depending on screen size. The new feature allows for text resizing across CarPlay, and changes CarPlay wallpaper color depending on whether it is in light mode or dark mode. The release of iOS 26 also includes six new color options for CarPlay.
