Former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, has been charged with two misdemeanors after a car crash in July that involved him driving over 100 mph and causing a collision with another vehicle. The incident, which occurred in Westport, Connecticut, was captured on dashcam footage following a public records request by USA TODAY. Despite the severity of the crash, no one was seriously injured and McMahon was released without needing medical attention. The case against McMahon was dismissed by the court, but the police officer reported that McMahon was traveling at speeds near 115 mph and then offered McMahon an opportunity to defend himself. This contrasts with other instances of law enforcement encounters where people with color are treated differently, such as a Black college student who was beaten for not driving with his lights on during bad weather. McMahon's wife, Linda McMahon, is the U.S. secretary of Education and the couple is close friends with President Donald Trump.
