Cher's Son Elijah Blue Allman Calls into Court Hearing from Mental Health Ward as Judge Denies Conservatorship Request

Cher's request for a temporary conservatorship for her son, Elijah Blue Allman, has been denied by a Los Angeles judge without prejudice. The judge stated that she did not see "sufficient urgency" in Cher's request, which Allman had claimed is "gravely disabled" due to mental health and substance abuse issues. Allman is currently in custody from a psychiatric hospital in Connecticut as he faces multiple criminal charges for two separate cases. Cher had previously requested herself as the sole conservator, but this time, she had requested fiduciary Jason Rubin fill.
