Amy Winehouse, the late singer, began her career with her debut album, Frank in 2003 at 20 years old, which quickly gained international attention. The interview with Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in March 2004 reveals that she never wanted to write about love, despite telling herself she wouldn't write about this topic. She also revealed that she had seven or eight songs written about her ex-boyfriend, which she confirmed were about him. Despite this, she expressed her desire to write emotionally-engaged music that people would want to listen to and connect with.
