Oil tankers transiting Strait of Hormuz since start of Iran war

The U.S. blockade on Iranian ports has caused uncertainty over shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been largely shut since the start of the Iran war. Approximately one fifth of global oil and gas exports typically transit the Strait. Several non-Iranian oil tankers have passed the strait since February 28, including two VLCCs and two suezmax tankers exiting the Gulf to offload crude at India. The Gabon-flagged tanker Msg, laden with residue fuel, is heading to India's Pipavav port on April 9.
