Over 100 educators and administrators from across the state gathered to discuss ways to introduce outdoor education into classrooms. The event was part of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' Outdoor Education Initiative, which aims to prepare students for careers in conservation, outdoor recreation and tourism. The interactive activities included a mobile cave exhibit teaching students about Arkansas's underground ecosystems and scientific data collection. The program is designed to be flexible and requires support from school administrators.
