The Southern California News Group has compiled a questionnaire to select candidates for the June 2026 primary election. The questionnaire includes questions about the top three issues impacting Californians, including voter ID, war powers, immigration, and tariffs. Candidates were asked to answer these questions in 250 words or less. They also included questions about immigration policy, criminal laws, and proposed legislation to end sanctuary states and cities in California and the country. Levi supports President Trump's SAVE Act legislation and the Reform California Initiative, which would require local and state law enforcement to cooperate with federal officials to deport illegal immigrants. He also supports legislation to investigate what happened to monies already set aside for disaster relief.
