Rocky Carroll Reacts to ‘NCIS’ Departure — But Hints How He Could Return

Rocky Carroll, who has played NCIS Director Leon Vance on the CBS series since 2008, has not seen his last episode of the show until it aired on March 24. The episode, "All Good Things," ended with Vance's death, ending his 18-year NCIS tenure. Carroll did not watch the episode alone but saw it as a "damn good episode." The decision to kill off Vance was seen as risky as it was highly emotional, especially as it comes after original star Mark Harmon stepped back as Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS. Carroll credits his time on the show for his contributions to the show and hinted at his potential return.
