The prestigious Michelin Guide has named 12 restaurants in the Bay Area and Southern California as "new discoveries" ahead of the release of the guide's California stars later this year. These restaurants include Yeobo, Darling in Menlo Park, and Maum in Palo Alto, a high-end Korean restaurant. The guide has highlighted these restaurants for the first time in 2021 and has done so every year since.
