Taylor Frankie Paul, the star of The Bachelorette, has accused her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, of becoming increasingly possessive as the premiere of her season of the show approached. Paul filed for a protective order against Mortensen on April 7, alleging a pattern of abusive conduct and coercive control during their relationship. Mortensen had previously filed for an order against Paul, which was granted during an April 7 hearing. Paul alleges that Mortensen sent her texts saying, "I want you forever," "I still love and want you," and asking her to "give me a chance" after her season had finished filming.
