Prince Andrew, formerly known as Prince Andrew, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Feb. 19, amid controversy over his alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Prior to his arrest, Andrew had renounced his royal titles and relocated from his royal residence to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Prince Charles stated that investigators had the "full and wholehearted support and cooperation" from the royal family. Marius Borg Høiby, the eldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and step-son of Crown Prince Haakon, was also arrested for assault, threats with a knife and violation of a restraining order. Prince William and Kate Middleton have publicly supported the victims of Epstein, expressing their concern over the release of millions of documents related to the case. Prince Harry appeared in court for a trial against Associated Newspapers over allegations of unethical newsgathering tactics. Other stars including Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sadie Frost are also taking aim against the publishing company in the lawsuit.
