Rap and pop star accused of charging at cops given mental health diversion

Rapper Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Hill, has been admitted to a two-year mental health diversion program, allowing for his felony battery charges to be dismissed if he successfully completes the treatment. This follows an incident in 2025 where Hill was arrested for allegedly charging at Los Angeles police officers while wearing only white underwear and cowboy boots. The program requires compliance with all laws and a progress report on July 29.
