The Celtics' coach, Joe Mazzulla, praised Baylor Scheierman's competitiveness and work ethic following the team's 109-98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Scheieran had a productive performance in the game, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes. Despite a recent thumb fracture, Mazzullan remains a "connector" for the team and is expected to be named NBA Coach of the Year.
