The city of North Austin has announced a 70-unit affordable housing community, Red Oaks, located at 11723 N FM 620 Rd. The community targets households at or below 30%, 50%, and 60% of the median family income. It is funded through federal tax credits, private financing, and the City of Austin investment through the Rental Housing Development Assistance Program. Red Oaks features a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom units and features resident-focused amenities.
