Business booming: Mayor unveils new businesses coming to Rexburg at State of the City

The Mayor of Rexburg, Jerry Merrill, has highlighted the city's economic growth during a State of the City address, unveiling new businesses and developments such as a WinCo, Home Depot, Olive Garden, and a skybridge between apartment buildings. The city, home to Brigham Young University-Idaho, is also experiencing significant growth, with its population surpassing 40,000 and 85% of its residents under 30 years old. A new park will be built on the banks of the Teton River and a celebration will be held on March 14.
