Lana Condor, star of the new shark thriller The Devil’s Mouth, has stated that she asked to wear a one-piece swimsuit in order to feel "safe" in her body during wardrobe fittings for the project. The costume department custom-designed her a one piece swimsuit for the duration of the project, which saw Condor spend 12 to 13 hours in the water every day. She also revealed that she did a lot of self-soothing during filming, including meditation and a bottle of red wine. The film follows a group of college graduates trapped in a cave system by an angry shark.
