Meta has removed advertisements from attorneys seeking clients who claim to have been harmed by social media while under the age of 18. This comes after Meta and YouTube were found negligent in a California case about social media addiction. Lawyers across the country are now seeking new plaintiffs in hopes of bringing a class action lawsuit that could result in significant verdicts. Over a dozen such ads were removed, some from large national firms like Morgan & Morgan and Sokolove Law. The company's terms of service allow it to remove or restrict access to content, features, services, or information if necessary.
