‘Agitated and delusional’: Man who fatally stabbed another in Gresham trailer convicted

William James Huffman, a 39-year-old man from Portland, has been convicted of first-degree manslaughter, attempt to commit a felony and unlawful use of a weapon. He was convicted after he fatally stabbed his sister-in-law in a Gresham RV trailer in 2025. An affidavit revealed that Huffman believed the two women and their fiancé, Thomas Ferrer, had kidnapped his wife and hid her in the trailer. The witness claimed that Huffam became "extremely agitated and delusional" before his attack.
