A group of scientists from the University of Chicago has discovered a new species of dinosaur, Spinosaurus mirabilis, which lived about 95 million years ago and was as long as a bus and hunted for fish. The discovery was made by a team led by Paul Sereno, a Professor of Organismal Biology and Anatomy at the university. The team found a massive crest that would have been atop the creature's head and some jaw bones, which were found far from ancient shorelines. The unique features of these fossils led them to believe that the Spinosauros would have hunted down prey underwater. This discovery is changing how scientists understand the species' evolution over thousands of years.
