IDF launches new round of strikes on Hezbollah, issues evacuation for southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has launched a new wave of strikes against Hezbollah sites throughout Lebanon, in preparation for a large overnight rocket attack. The strikes are part of the IDF's efforts to thwart incoming rocket fire towards Israel. In a post on X/Twitter, IDF's Arabic-language spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Ella Waweya warned that launch cells and missile launch platforms were attacked before or shortly after the launch operation. Additionally, citizens of Tyre and surrounding camps and neighborhoods have been warned to evacuate due to the threat of strikes.
