San Diego Rebellion, a professional women's football team, is gaining momentum in the Women’s National Football Conference. The team, which consists of nearly 50 players, practices twice a week and plays games at Escondido High School on Saturdays. Despite their diverse backgrounds, Rebellion has started a season running from March to May and started with a 4-0 win. The club is looking for more female players and is encouraging women to join the team.
