Fresno tourism leader Lisa Oliveira exits for Texas destination post

Lisa Oliveira, head of the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau for five years, is stepping aside to take a new role in Texas' Hill Country. She has been named president and CEO of the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, about 80 miles northwest of San Antonio. Oliveira will begin her new role on May 11. During her tenure, she oversaw a post-pandemic recovery in Fresno County, despite predictions of a potential $900 million decline in visitor spending in 2025.
