Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) is investigating a double homicide that left a woman and a toddler dead in a car near Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive. The incident occurred around 9 o'clock Monday evening in the southwest part of the valley. LVMPD officers were conducting a traffic stop when they heard gunshots and found a vehicle with several impacts from gunfire inside. The woman and toddler were transported to UMC hospital where they were pronounced dead. A GoFundMe campaign identified Danaijha Robinson as the woman found in the vehicle, not the mother of the child, but had been watching the toddler. No suspects have been apprehended or a motive for the deadly shooting.
