Thailand's Benetone Films and Fearfolks have partnered with Vietnam's ProductionQ Ink to co-produce a horror-comedy called "Roll & LOL". This is one of the first co-productions between the two countries' film industries. The project will be co-financed and co-produced by all three companies and feature an all-Vietnamese cast. The story follows a struggling Vietnamese comedian who attempts to revive his career with a low-budget Thai horror film, before supernatural forces strike. Beneton Films, which has a two-decade presence in the Thai industry, operates as a global full-service production company with a growing international footprint and has recently produced films such as "Dhurandhar" and "Perfect Girl".
