Senior Keelie Kronberger, the latest player from Mountain City Christian Academy to be named Gatorade Alaska Girls Basketball Player of the Year, has been named. Kronberger led the Mountain City high school girls basketball team to the program's first regional title in three years and the No. 1 seed at the 2026 ASAA 4A state tournament. She also helped lead the Lions to a 25-3 record and averaged 29.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.5 steals through 25 games. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement and exemplary character displayed on and off the court. After graduation, Kronberger will continue her basketball career at Oral Roberts University.
